Wien Energie, Austria's largest energy provider, and KTM, an Austrian bike company, have started a pedelec test initiative. From 1st June till 31st July 50 men and women will test pedelecs and will share their experiences in an online blog. During 1st and 31st July there will be a public voting that will select the winner.

Further more, the subsidy initiative of Wien Energie and City of Vienna has been extended. Per pedelec you get a subsidy of 30 percent of the purchase price or max. 300 Euros.
