From 22th till 25th of July the Bike Expo in Munich with the motto "Cycling Trends for City and Nature" took place. The Go Pedelec! project partner ExtraEnergy was host of the hall C4 which was totally dedicated to electric mobility. A big test track gave the visitors the chance to test the newest pedelecs. The special thing was that this test track was built locally from wood whereas the usual Go Pedelec! test track is a mobile unit made from metal.
Part of the Bike Expo was also a special training (in German) for retailers where they got an overview of for example the pedelec market,
battery safety regulations and the EnergyBus connector.
It was impressing to be faced with the very strict regulations on the transport of batteries (ADR - Accord europeen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route). The issue is very diffcult to oversee of for a retailer.
The Go Pedelec! team filmed the entire training. The films shall be made available to the public.
Currently we are looking for a sponsor for cutting the raw material.
As an exchange Go Pedelec! offers the placement of the sponsor's logo on the training film clips.
